A New-Build in Brooklyn that I Actually Like
Lex and I have been following the feral felines in this lot near the Gowanus for a while. In the early fall we met one of the people who was feeding and trying to catch the cats and kittens for shots and adoption, and every once in a while we go back to visit the ever-changing brood. It had been a month or two since our last visit. During that time, a cat condo seems to have been erected in the far corner of the lot, which is great because I was really worried that some of the cats might die over the winter from the weather (you know, that frigid 60 degrees that we've been having).
I love the center cat condo building and it makes me want to build a series of four cat-sized houses for the Lexacor 60lbs of Cat(s). I'm thinking a range of architecturally appropriate historic Brooklyn rebuilds...though we might need a ranch for Olga so that she doesn't have a heart attack walking up any steps. Or maybe just a ramp.

That's like the cat sanctuary in Rome!

Are the little old ladies still feeding the cat hoards in the colosseum. In Roma, I mean.

Actually, we saw very few cats in Rome except for the sanctuary. Lex was very concerned.

this makes me want to build brownstone facades on top of my cat houses. that'll be money well spent.
