Altoids STRIPS!

Ooooh. Altoids have come out with those little breath strips. Of course, I have no interest in the actual strips (though I know Skutchie will). But the tin...oh, the beautiful tin. It's a little metal container-- teeny! It's so cute that I'll have to go back out to CVS and but the cinnamon one, as well, just because I can't resist clever packaging.

I'm a bit pouty that they haven't put out the wintermint flavor, though, as I don't find that the peppermint or the cinnamon actually freshens one's breath.

Never-the-less, the Altoids Strips tin is mad cool. If I were 15 I'd be storing other, more important things in it. But as a responsible adult, I'll settle for using it as a pill container. If my pills actually fit.

One last thing-- as a strips container, it actually sucks. All of the strips are clumpted together in mine. My first instinct was to moisten my fingertip to fan them out...of course, that doesn't help matters when the strips are made to dissolve. Oh well. It's a classic "packaging is better than the product" situation. I'll take it.

In other news:
Apparently, while I was deep in slumber, the family computer's "hive file" grew too big for its britches, to the point that when I woke this morning and turned it on, it buststed out the royal Windows Middle Finger at me.
