A Fez for Irving
One of our goals while in Turkey was to find a fez for Irving. Unfortunately, we could not find a classic one that would have fit his small head, so we compromised as bought a different style. Actually, I am fairly sure that this is a decorative cover for a hard boiled egg...but it works for now.
One of my summer projects is to make a simple little red fez for Irving. I think that all I'll need is some flexible cardboard, burgundy felt and a tassel. He goes in for measurements next week.

I think the green color suits him better. If Irving got a fez, or a fezlike hat, what did the other cats get?

oybean was the only one who got a present. they should all feel lucky that we didn't bring another cat (or 50) home with us!
