I'm happy to see our friend alexis believes in using the best a man can get.

and that's when she's happy...

My cat was sitting several inches from my monitor and jumped a foot when he heard the Olive noises. He is puzzled and is currently peering in the speakers to see if he can find the source.

Cleo did the same- she is sniffing around the laptop anxiously. Hee!

Our cats looked wary for a minute but then went on their merry way. I think they are immune to Olive's dramatic ways.

That's actually really cute. I'm listening at work though so I can't test it on Tahsha. Though I can say that when I played "kabuki kitten" she totally freaked out.

Those are her "happy" noises?

Posted by: ccs178 (Chris) at April 7, 2006 10:51 AM

it's often unclear as to why she makes the noises. in this case, i think olga was in the room. regardless of whether she is happy or not, if you touch her you will get that weird moaning. i think she's trying to seem scary.

She just likes to be touched on her own terms.

She sounds like those "whee!" noises at the beginning of "Highway 61 Revisited." My two cats gave me big saucer eyes (and then said, "Okay, enough of that, where's dinner?").

Another lovely picture today.

What a lugubrious meow! She sounds just like my brown bear chunky muffin of a cat Bella.

my cat Mickey makes those sounds when he can't find me...which is usally when I'm in the shower. Perfect timing....

Poor pissed off kitty. I've only encountered those words at kitty bathtime...
