Unrelated Photo

Uncle Irving's makeshift bed, which was sorely needed for his anti-social comfort

Oh dear, my spare photo cache finally ran out. Thankfully, this weekend I actually get to walk around again and get back into the swing of things.

Until then, someone answer this question for me: what exactly is the purpose of having a shower with two shower heads? Don't get me wrong, the experience is wonderful, though it seems rather wasteful to me unless, of course, there is someone else in there with you.

psh, i think you just shipped irving over in the box.

the best is the custom made kohler thing where you get water from like 7 different places. i was considering that until i saw the cost and realized that i wouldn't go all the way to the basement to shower in the morning.

and i'm not sure we all want to know what you and lex are doing in the shower...

this shower just has two heads, one on each wall.

and that last part, tien, that's your mind, not my words!

when i was vacationing in seattle we stayed at a house that had that kind of shower in the master bedroom.. a shower head coming out of each wall and pointed at the middle. it was awesome!

I suppose you could turn the other showerhead off when you're alone in the shower. Or, not be alone in the shower so much. ;)

Is the shower double the length of a normal shower? I went to this house in Amagansett with a friend where the bathroom had a double length shower and there was a head on each end, I guess so two people can shower at once (?). It seemed too long for one person to use both heads unless you pointed them straight out.

My pal Brian has that kind of set up. and it seems unlikely they were intended for one person use. However, his bathroom is novel in archetecture (it almost seems like it was intended to be locker-room styled), I'm not sure if the two situations can be compared.

Our bathroom is weird, too. The shower is extra large without a tub b/c there is a jaccuzi on the other side of the room. It kind of reminds me of a locker room shower, but the two shower heads definitely hit you.

You still live in New York, right? Dual shower head, jaccuzi on the other side of the room?

What lux digs. Sunlights, sq.footage and two heads + jacuzzi. I will do a house trade anyday!

You should enter the raffle at the Gingerbread Homes For Animals thing in central park and hope you win the Kitty Kastle to replace Unky Irving's cardboard box!
