Fleeting Thought on a Neervous Morning | Main | Hush

First Day
Things that I left behind on Tuesday, for better or for worse:
The West Village
The F train
Windows
Plants
A kitchen/refrigerator/water cooler
Free reign over my computing system
(Gulpno installing Photoshop *sniffle*)
Things that I gained yesterday:
VENDING MACHINES. Holy Crap. VENDING MACHINES. Rows of them filled with every kind of beverage under the sun and varieties of chocolate bars and chips that I have never even heard of. So many options that I quickly became overwhelmed and had to leave the building.
Okay, that was a lie, but it was close. I gained a lot of other good things, too, and I shall tell you about them once I can take a deep breath.

Breathing is good, very good. So are vending machines. You are off to a stellar beginning.

Glad to hear things are off to a good start. Watch out for M&Ms!

No free reign over computer! Dang nammit universities and their sophistications

Ah yes, I can't do much on my computer...when I actually get one. Right now I am squatting with a laptop.
But my temporary office does have a secret door. I feel like I'm entering through the wardrobe into Narnia every time I open it...or like I must stand at attention and do some sort of secret society handshake.

Rumor has it that those vending machines are run by a CU dropout who saw the cash flow potential. Their contents are refreshed 3x daily, because SIPA students seem to live on Doritos and Diet Coke.

mmm...doritos...
this better not give me another freshman 15.

I'm intrigued by this secret door.
