No Recollection
I was downloading photos for a post that I have no time to write about this morning and came across this. I think that it was taken last night, however I have absolutely no recollection of their capture.
For the past week, I have been falling into a dead sleep/stupor at insanely early hours. I have no idea how to overcome it. When I begin to drift off, I am virtually unwakable.
I think that it might be time to start drinking coffee in the evenings, lest I become a feline sofa for the rest of my life.

at least there's no visible puddle of drool.

I love your cat photos best. I was contemplating on asking you if I could "license" one or two of them, but I don't think I would do them justice by taking them out of context.

I love how Olive is looking at you with such a questioning look. I think she is a beautiful cat...not funny looking at all.

Olive doesn't seem to trust that Ugly Doll. Or else she's locked in an eternal staring contest.
Do sleep straight through to the morning or is it a quick cat nap (pun totally intended)? If I take a nap in the evening (especially long ones), it adds exactly to my awake-tossing-and-turning time. I hate when I do that. I hate often.

Do *you* sleep straight through...

I think Olive had just jumped on my back. My memory of the moment is very fuzzy (Lex swears that he SHOWED me these pictures right after he took them). No, I have not been sleeping through the night. I am on the couch in the picture. Three hours later I was staring at the ceiling and dozing on and off, the half-sleep that I stayed in until I got up at 6am.

Don't fret. It's likely just seasonal allergies. Mine didn't develop until my late 20s and now I'm always lethargic when the trees start blooming if I don't take my allergy medicine. I'll bet you're back to normal in a week or two.

Good to hear someone else attribute it to allergies. My wife has been telling me that allergies are why I've suddenly been falling asleep at 8:30 and sleeping for 9 hours instead of my usual 6-7. I'd never heard of that before and so had my doubts, partly because I get impatient with having to sleep, and fear having to live like this the rest of my life!

don't give in to night-time coffees! It will ruin your sleep forever!
