Serendipitous
Is when you get an email, out of the blue, from your 9th grade Social Studies teacher.
Particularly Serendipitous is when you you've been thinking about said teacher for several days prior to the email arriving.
Fantastically Serendipitous is when you've just blogged about your hometown with said teacher in mind, then received the email.
Contently Serendipitous is the warm feeling that overwhelms you when you realize that, ten years later, said Social Studies teacher still remembers you...and cares enough to seek you out and ask how life is.
Proof that special teachers are out there...and that the internet can be quite wondrous, despite that nasty spyware.

serendipity is on E. 60th and it's the only one. I'm still grappling with the fact that you were in 9th grade 10 years ago! I'm feeling so old ...

Hell, I was a senior in college ten years ago. Actually, to be accurate, on this day, I'd been a college graduate for a couple of weeks ten years ago.
How did that happen?
