I can admit that the get-up is cute, but GOD I find Pugs absolutely repulsive. And that horrible noise they make while breathing! The only dog I hate more than a Pug is a Shitzu (sp?). I apologize to anyone reading who owns one of either of these dogs, and please know, with a pet, yes, it's the personality that matters most.

Are you serious?? I think that pugs are the cutest things on earth...aside from Irving, of course. I love a pet that snores.

does irving snore? my cat hubcap snores, it wakes me up at night. but dogs with those breathing problems, they sound like that all the time. it might wear out its endearing quality.

Irving snores sometimes and it's quite cute...but never to the point of waking me up. I just like it because when he snores it often means that he's going to have kitty twitching dreams, which are highly entertaining to watch.

I'm sorry. You know I would love your Pug if you got one. And you probably know that I have one of the more objective minds on what is considered attractive. However, there is just something about the smushed in faces! The cat breeder we checked out had Bombays, and I thought I would like them because I had seen pictures, but when I saw them live, they have these smushed in faces! And I'm sure if it were my cat, I would find him cute and wonderful, but on first look, I recoiled. I mean, sure, cute in an ugly way, but being all black with these big gold eyes and round heads with smushed in faces, they looked like the Marsian from Looney Tunes. What the hell was his name? I couldn't stop thinking they looked like aliens. And I'd rather save a kitty than have my dad pay 700 bucks for a cat that looks like an alien to me.

I hate cats with smushed faces. They look like furry assholes. Especially persians...I start to think about Amy's persian cat named Munchkin, from high school. God that animal was ugly. And dumb, too. For some reason I find ugly dogs far more tolerable than ugly cats.
