ELF ELF ELF!!

07ELF.2.184.jpg

YAAAAAAAY! Elf opens today! Now I just need to coerce a friend into going to see it with me...preferably the UA Theater on Court Street, which is my preferred theater for viewing stupid movies.

For some reason, not many of my loved ones enjoy stupid movies as much as I do. Hmmph.

i hope you like elf, i know i did.

i think that if you see a movie at that theater before 2, it's half price. i have yet to take advantage of that myself, but i hope to soon.

If you see it at the Cobble Hill Cinemas on Court and Butler, it's $5 before 2 or all day on Tues. and Thurs. Pretty awesome.

I like the UA because people yell at the screen :P

right, that't the one i'm talking about, i think. next to b & n, right?

all day tuesday? damn, i might have to hit that up.

The UA is the big one next to B&N-- the Cobble Hill is the one with the cheap tickets...that one's on Butler and Court. Their Tues and Thursdays are awesome.

it was cute. but not worth $10. definately a matinee movie as long as you don't have too many screaming kids.

yeah i hate to bring this up but now that you no longer live in the boerum/cobble hill area, chances are the nearest theater is the Pavillon, known the world over for its near-constant supply of small screechy children.

I love the court theater for the big blockbuster Hollywood flicks. I especialy like it early on a weekday because it's six bucks, empty, and you can bring your own lunch and they don't usually say anything. You can also make a double feature afternoon by slipping into one of their numerous screening rooms. I saw Matrix and Schoo of Rock the other day. Such fun!

Yeah...I saw it on Saturday night at the Pavillion-- they made us wait outside in the freezing cold for nearly an hour before they let us in. The line stretched all the way down 14th Street.

Dahl, you're totally right-- cute but not worth 10 bucks. But we did get to watch the lunar eclipse while waiting on line!
